Black Maternal Health film screening Laboring with Hope In-Person
For many Black women, some of the joys of pregnancy and childbirth are overshadowed by fear and anxiety. Regardless of income, socioeconomic status, or education, Black women are more likely to die from pregnancy related complications than White women. Laboring with Hope is a short documentary about loss, grief, and the hope for change. This documentary screening will be followed by a group discussion led by Dr. Cynthia Klobudu.
