Description

The Grove Study Space will be open starting June 7, Monday - Thursday from 12-5pm,  by seat reservation only. You may make a reservation on the spot if a seat is available.

Reservations are restricted to currently enrolled CSU, Chico students only. Be prepared to show your Wildcat card upon entry.

There are 18 seats available (25% of room capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions), four of which are computers. 

Seat reservations are in set 1 hour time blocks.

You may reserve up to 3 time blocks per day, 12 time blocks per week, up to 14 days in advance.

TO RESERVE A SEAT:

  • Locate an available time slot below (available times will be in GREEN).  You may need to click to the next page of the calendar to see all of the seats.
  • Click on the desired available time slot and follow the instructions on the proceeding pages.
  • Check your email for your reservation confirmation.  Be sure to check your Junk, Spam, or Clutter folders for this email as it will contain additional important information.

TO CHECK-IN TO THE STUDY SPACE:

  • Enter into the study space through the door just to the right of main library entrance doors. Signage and stanchions will be in place.
  • The check-in station is just inside the door. Please look in the door window to ensure that nobody is checking in before you enter.
  • Give your name and show your Wildcat Card to the check-in attendant.
  • Upon verification that you have a valid reservation, the attendant will direct you to your reserved seat.

TO CHECK-OUT OF THE STUDY SPACE:

  • You will exit the study space via the stairwell exit door on the opposite side of the room from the check-in station.
  • Please give your name to the exit attendant and they will check you out of the space.
  • Shortly after you check-out of the space, you will receive an email with a link to a survey.  This survey is your opportunity to express any suggestions or comments you may have about the study space reservation process.

TO CANCEL A RESERVATION:

  • Your confirmation email will contain a link to Cancel your reservation.  After two “no-shows”, you may be prohibited from making future reservations, so it is crucial that you Cancel your reservation in advance if you are unable to make it to your reserved time.
